Hierro R 100ml

Hierro R injection Iron is a necessary element for the activity of hemoproteins (hemoglobin, myoglobin, cytochromes, catalases) and proteins of the respiratory chain. It is acquired through diet or supplements and is lost through peeling or hemorrhage. There is a body deposit in the hepatocyte and in the reticuloendothelial system in the form of ferritin hemosiderin and another circulating pool in the form of transferrin.

INDICATIONS

Use in horses and calves.
Iron deficiency anemia and iron deficiency. Lack of development, weight loss, states of decline and convelescence of infectious or viral diseases.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

Equines: 5 to 10 mL per day, or every other day via slow IV preferably, or deep IM.
Calves: 5 mL via IM
