Description

Cydectin Injection 10% Long Action for Cattle wormer is a treatment and control of worms such as gastro-intestinal roundworms, lungworms, sucking lice, mange and warbles in cattle. Cydectin aids in the control of biting lice. A translucent, yellowish, slightly viscous, sterile solution containing 10gm moxidectin per liter.

One injection of Cydectin 10% Long Acting wormer offers season long protection against

  • Lungworms
  • Stomach worms

TYPES OF WORMERS

There are significant differences between wormer options. There are three main types of wormers:

  • Benzimidazoles
  • Levamisoles
  • Macrocyclic Lactones

The older white (benzimidazoles) and yellow (levamisole) doses have no persistent effect against worms. These wormers kill the worms the day the animals are dosed, but the following day the animals could pick up new infections. The clear (Macrocyclic Lactones) wormers have evolved over time.
