Alizin 10ml

Alizin injectable solution is used for the treatment of canine misalliance, for the termination of pregnancy in bitches up to 45 days from mating.

Aglepristone is a synthetic progesterone antagonist, effective on uterine progesterone receptors, with a relative binding affinity three times stronger than endogenous progesterone, providing effective competitive antagonism of progesterone and blocking the hormone responsible for implantation and pregnancy maintenance

Alizin contains 30mg/ml aglepristone, a synthetic progesterone antagonist, effective on uterine progesterone receptors, with a relative binding affinity three times stronger than endogenous progesterone – thus providing effective competitive antagonism of progesterone and blocking the hormone responsible for implantation and pregnancy maintenance.

Contra-indications

• Do not use in dogs with impaired hepatic or renal function, in diabetic animals or in
  dogs in poor health.
• Do not use in dogs with either manifest or latent hypoadrenocorticism (Addison’s
  disease) or in dogs with a genetic predisposition to hypoadrenocorticism.
• Do not use in dogs with known hypersensitivity to aglepristone or the veterinary
  medicinal product excipient.
