Cortifen 200.25 100ml

Cortifen 200.25 injection is indicated for the treatment of primary type affections of the locomotive system and coadjuvant to antibiotherapy treatment of infectious arthritis.

 

Formula:

Cortifen 200.25 consits of

Phenylbutazone 200.00mg;

Dexamethasone sodium phosphate 0.33 mg;

Exipients q.s. ad 1mL.

 

Indications:

Cortifen 200.25 100ml for the treatment of primary type affections of the locomotive system and coadjuvant to antibiotherapy treatment of infectious arthritis.

It is also indicated in inflammatory processes that are common to osteopathies, adenopathies, neuropathies and mastitis, in all which cases it combats the congestive process and painful symptoms that come along.

 

Dosage And Administration:

Cattle and horses: 30ml the first day, 20ml the second day and then 10 mL per day during 4 – 6 days (half the dose in young animals).

Sheep and goats: 5 ml /animal/day during 2 days.

Pigs of 20 – 50 kg of b.w.: 5 mL/animal/day during 5 days; of 50 – 100 kg of b.w.: 10 mL/animal/day during 2 days; of more than 100 kg of b.w.: 15 mL the first day and then 10 mL per day during 4 – 6 days.

Minor animals: 1 mL/15 kg of b.w. per day during 5 days.

Apply through deep intramuscular or intravenous route.
